Bruce Springsteen may have been Born to Run, but baby, I was Born to Cook.
After attending Le Cordon Bleu in Paris and the Culinary Institute of America in New York, I worked in restaurants in New York, Maine and the island of St. John. As much as I loved to cook, it was clear that the life of a restaurant chef was not for me. I found a new home in the San Francisco Bay Area and spent several years working in the wine industry before I returned to my true calling, cooking. Today, I work as a private chef and have clients with wide ranging culinary preferences and dietary requirements. I work hard to bring people together around the table and provide them with delicious, fresh food. I want to provide the same for my own family, even when I’ve spent the whole day cooking for clients. This blog is my space to share the recipes that ‘work’. These recipes can be made by anyone quickly and easily even after a long, stressful day. I hope that you enjoy these posts as much as I enjoy writing and cooking for them.
